I’ve added a couple more social networking services to the mix. Twitter (because it gets lonely in my office sometimes) and Friendfeed (to aggregate my increasing number of feeds). Check out the “Echoes” section of the sidebar for the full list of my distractions.

My first book, Please, came out nearly six years ago, and I still get messages from people every few days telling me they’ve just read it and enjoyed it. It’s surprising but lovely to see the book have such a long life, and I’d like to thank all my readers with a free short story. If you’re one of the people who spent your hard-earned dollars on Please, send me a copy of the receipt or a photo of yourself with the book (print or digital versions, but photos in libraries or bookstores don’t count) and let me know which story from the store you’d like. I’ll e-mail you the PDF ASAP. If it’s a really creative photo, I’ll give you two stories.

And yes, the new book is coming. It’s with the publisher right now, so hopefully you’ll have something new to read from me soon.

I’m thinking about putting prints of the comics up for sale, but I have to figure out what sort of print service I’d use to produce nice-quality prints. Let me know if you have any ideas.
